What makes a masterpiece a masterpiece? The answer is often quite complex, going beyond formal qualities and technical brilliance. This series at Mosman Art Gallery, features one-hour talks by Academy Travel’s tour leaders, each focusing on a single masterpiece. Their lectures reveal to you why each work has been so highly prized, and gives you a greater insight into the life and times of each artist, as well as appreciation for their work.
Join Dr Robert Mitchell as he discusses the masterpieces of the opera chorus during this one-hour lecture.
