Fergus is a founding director of Academy Travel, established in 2004, and brings with him over 35 years of experience in the travel industry. His career has spanned both local and international companies, providing him with a deep understanding of the industry and a broad global perspective.
Fergus’s commitment to delivering exceptional travel experiences has seen him transition from working behind the scenes to becoming one of Academy Travel’s most sought-after Tour Managers. Renowned for his calm leadership, vast travel knowledge, and warm sense of humour, Fergus ensures that every journey he leads is not only seamless and well-organised, but also truly memorable.
A lifelong travel enthusiast, Fergus is passionate about helping others explore the world in meaningful and rewarding ways. When he's not leading tours or contributing to the strategic direction of Academy Travel, Fergus enjoys spending time on the golf course. A keen golfer, he’s steadily working through an ever-growing wish list of the world’s most iconic courses.
