OVERVIEW
Adelaide, arguably Australia’s most refined capital city, is overflowing with art, history, fine cuisine, and entertainment. It is also the gateway to our world-famous wine country and areas of stunning natural beauty.
There is no better time to explore the City of Churches than during the 2027 Adelaide Festival, when the atmosphere is abuzz with events and performances, and the city is looking her very best. Led by Christopher Menz, this eight-day tour offers an in-depth engagement with Adelaide’s famed cultural life. We trace Adelaide’s colonial and cultural history through visits to the historic estates of Carrick Hill, Fermoy House and
The Cedars, while also spending time with the significant collections of the South Australian Museum and the Art Gallery of South Australia.
The tour is rounded out by the fine food, wine, culture and varied landscapes for which Adelaide is known internationally, including a heritage tour of the Barossa Valley, a full-day trip to unforgettable Kangaroo Island and three carefully-chosen performances at the renowned Adelaide Festival.

Adelaide Festival is internationally recognised as Australia's pre-eminent arts festival. Alongside sister-festivals in Edinburgh and Avignon, the Festival is cited as one of the top festivals in the world.
