overview
“Come quickly, I am tasting the stars!” Dom Pérignon’s legendary words capture the magic of Champagne – the sparkling wine synonymous with celebration and elegance.
Produced exclusively in France’s Champagne region under strict appellation rules, this iconic drink is the result of centuries of refinement – from vineyard practices and grape pressing to bottle fermentation. Yet beyond the bubbles lies a rich history, spanning 18th-century art and aristocratic banquets to modern marketing and pop culture cameos. Its image has been carefully cultivated, bottle by bottle.
Join Kenneth W Park for a lively exploration of Champagne’s origins, traditions and enduring role as the drink of choice for life’s most sparkling moments.
