overview

The three remarkable Brontë sisters - Charlotte, Emily and Anne - authored some of the best known novels in 19th century English literature, including Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall

Join Anne Harbers for a special lecture which looks at their extraordinary home on the edge of the West Yorkshire Moors, Haworth Parsonage, and how its unique location influenced their writing. This lecture also considers the portraits that have been associated with members of the famous family, as well as the art that they themselves created.
